Ever since Jesus left over 2,000 years ago, the people believe that Jesus would return for them quickly. During these times Christians were being persecuted. In 64 AD emperor Nero burned Christians as human torches!

"Christians were first, and horribly, targeted for persecution as a group by the emperor Nero in 64 AD. A colossal fire broke out at Rome, and destroyed much of the city. Rumours abound that Nero himself was responsible. He certainly took advantage of the resulting devastation of the city, building a lavish private palace on part of the site of the fire.

Perhaps to divert attention from the rumours, Nero ordered that Christians should be rounded up and killed. Some were torn apart by dogs, others burnt alive as human torches."*

So you can imagine they must have thought that Jesus will surely return soon. Fast forward 2000 years later, Jesus has not.

I have heard people say that Jesus is returning, since I was 18 years old. They would quote this sign or that sign. I never really paid attention to it. But, what is happening in the World today, (which I never thought possible) and what this will do to our financial situation in the future... I have never felt like the time could be soon.

Now, only God knows WHEN Jesus will return, and we feel things are bad right now, like the Christians in 64AD, but it could get worse.. much worse.

We are told to be ready at all times for Jesus' return.....
