The moment we were born we are broken, sinful creatures. As life goes along we become more and more broken. By choices we have made, people that have hurt us deeply, the people we hurt in life. Some of these broken pieces will mend with time, but many will not heal.... that is until we get to Heaven.
Have you ever thought what it will be like standing in front of Jesus? Looking at His eyes, staring at this pierced hands and feet knowing that was for you. Do you think you will fall down at His feet or grab ahold of Him so tight that it is hard to breath? The feeling that you will feel when you hug Jesus will make everything amazing... better than you have EVER had it in your life.

So be encouraged, that day is coming. You will be whole again and more complete than you ever have been in your life.

ReplyDeleteYes, I look forward to that day so very much. How I yearn to embrace Jesus/ see His face, to look right at Him! I have had one particular visions (several times throughout my life) of Jesus with His arms wide open and Him picking me up in His arms and holding me. In the vision, He is standing outside of a beach house waiting for me. I'm wearing a summer hat & a dress and I walk right up to Him. In the vision, I have felt that strong sense of the Fathers love. Nothing like it... The times in my life in which I have felt deep sadness, is when I've clung to the memory of this vision in my mind. It always warms my heart & soul.
It will be the most beautiful moment I will ever experience.

ReplyDeleteJesus can heal us now, we dont have to wait. Most Christians dont understand that when we see Jesus face to face it will be when he returns to begin his 1000 year reign on earth. Every Christian will have to stand before him and be judged for how they lived their life after becoming a Christian.

ReplyDeleteGod is all-merciful, but God is also just. His Divine Justice demands just punishment for those who did not keep his Commandments. Jesus also said this several times and sacred scripture.
So the author of this article is guilty of the sin of presumption that everyone's going to be hugged by Jesus and that is not true.
