I Saw Hell and Then Met Jesus: Jordan Samuel's Near-Death Experience

Image
Jordan Samuel's Near-Death Experience and the Life-Changing Encounter He Says He Had with Jesus For most of his life, Jordan Samuel believed hell was nothing more than a myth.  Like many people, he thought that if he lived a decent life and treated others well, everything would work out in the end. "I went my whole life not believing that hell was real," Jordan recalls. "I didn't want to believe in all that dark stuff. I thought there was no hell." Today, he passionately says the opposite.  Jordan believes he experienced both hell and heaven during what he describes as a near-death experience, an encounter that completely transformed his life. Note: Near-death experiences (NDEs) are personal testimonies. While many people find them inspiring, they should not be considered equal to Scripture. Christians are encouraged to evaluate every experience in light of God's Word. A Childhood Full of Questions About Jesus Image created with AI. Jordan grew up in Edm...

Jesus Has Prepared a Place for You in Heaven: A Promise of Eternal Life

Jesus welcoming believers into heaven with open arms, golden streets, radiant light, and the promise of eternal life.

Hello family. Can you imagine sitting with Jesus back in His earthly days, and He tells you He has a room prepared just for you?! What does it look like I wonder? Will I be able to decorate it? Will it be just me? It's a message of comfort and hope, let's look at that and see what you think.

Jesus said:

“In My Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:2

In a world filled with chaos, pain, and uncertainty, Jesus reminds us that this earth is not our final home. Beyond every sorrow, disappointment, and struggle, there is a glorious eternal future waiting for those of us who choose to trust in Him. Heaven is not just a distant dream or symbolic idea, it is a real place lovingly prepared by Jesus Himself.

A Promise Spoken From Love

When Jesus told His disciples He was preparing a place for them, their hearts were troubled. They didn't want Him to leave them. They did not fully understand what was about to happen at the cross. Yet instead of leaving them in fear, Jesus gave them hope.

He said:

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” — John 14:1

Those words still speak powerfully today. Jesus knew His followers would face grief, persecution, heartbreak, and trials. He knew we would live in a broken world where sickness, loss, and suffering exist. But He wanted believers to remember that something greater awaits for them, heaven.

Heaven is the fulfillment of God’s love for His children.

Heaven Is a Real Place

Many people wonder what heaven will truly be like. The Bible gives us glimpses of its beauty and glory.

Revelation describes streets of gold, gates of pearl, crystal-clear rivers, and the radiant presence of God lighting the city. There is no darkness there. No fear. No death. No pain.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.” — Revelation 21:4

Imagine a place where anxiety no longer exists. A place where every wound is healed. A place where broken hearts are restored forever. A place that is perfect because Jesus is there and God has made it for us.

The greatest joy of heaven is not the beauty of the city itself, it is being in the presence of Jesus forever.

Jesus Paid the Way

The promise of heaven did come at an incredible cost. Jesus did not simply speak about eternal life; He made a way for us to receive it through His sacrifice and suffering on the cross. Humanity’s sin separated us from God, but Jesus willingly took that punishment upon Himself.

Through His death and resurrection, He opened the door to eternal life.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

Salvation is not earned through perfection, let me say that again, salvation is not earned, not through good works, or religious rituals. It is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

That means no one is too broken, too lost, or too far gone for God’s mercy. Jesus invites everyone to come to Him.

Heaven Gives Us Hope Today

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Many people carry burdens nobody else sees. Some are grieving loved ones, others may be battling fear, loneliness, depression, or uncertainty about their future. But the promise of heaven reminds believers that suffering is temporary.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” — 2 Corinthians 4:17

This does not mean our pain is small. It means our future glory is far greater than anything we face now.

Every tear matters to God, every prayer is heard, and every lonely night is seen by Heaven. Jesus walks beside His people through every storm, and one day He will bring them home.

There Is Room for You

One of the most beautiful parts of Jesus’ promise is its personal nature.

He did not say He was preparing a generic place for humanity. He said:

“I go to prepare a place for YOU.”

That means Jesus knows your name. He knows your heart, He sees your struggles, He understands your fears. And all He desires is a relationship with you.

Heaven is not reserved for the perfect. It is for those who place their trust in Christ. No matter your past, God’s grace is greater. Perhaps you have heard or read this but still feel unworthy. Perhaps you have made mistakes you regret deeply. Maybe you believe God could never forgive you. But remind yourself of this, the cross proves otherwise.

Jesus came to save sinners, restore the broken, and give eternal life to all who believe in Him. All He wants is to be with you!

This World Is Not Our Home

Modern culture often encourages people to place their hope in temporary things, like money, success, possessions, fame, or comfort. Yet none of these things last forever. Everything on earth eventually fades, everything has an expiration date.

But heaven is eternal with no expiration.

Jesus taught His followers not to store up treasures only on earth, but to live with eternity in mind. When believers remember heaven, it changes how they live. They begin valuing love, kindness, faith, forgiveness, and obedience to God above worldly gain.

The hope of heaven strengthens believers to endure difficult seasons and remain faithful.

Jesus Is Coming Again

The Bible repeatedly reminds us that Jesus will return.

His promise is certain:

“Surely I am coming quickly.” — Revelation 22:20

For Christians, this is not meant to inspire fear, but hope. Jesus will one day make all things new. Evil will not win forever. Pain will not have the final word. One day, believers will see Him face to face. Can you even fathom that?!

The thought of eternity should awaken our hearts and encourage us to stay spiritually ready. Jesus calls His followers to remain faithful, prayerful, and filled with love while waiting for His return.

An Invitation to Eternal Life

The message of heaven is ultimately an invitation. Jesus stands with open arms, inviting people into forgiveness, peace, and eternal life. No one knows how many days they have on earth, which is why Scripture urges us not to delay responding to God’s grace.

If you have never trusted Jesus, today can be the day you begin that relationship. You do not need fancy words. You simply come honestly before Him. Ask for forgiveness. Believe in His death and resurrection. Place your faith in Him.

God promises that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

Final Thoughts

Jesus has prepared a place for you in heaven, a place filled with peace, joy, love, and eternal life. In a world full of uncertainty, His promise remains unshaken. When life becomes difficult, remember this truth, your story does not end here on earth.

For those who belong to Christ, heaven is home.

One day there will be no more tears, no more fear, and no more suffering. Only the presence of God, endless joy, and perfect peace forever. I can't wait!

Until that day, keep your eyes on Jesus, trust His promises, and walk in hope.

I hope you liked this message from Jesus, His promise to us that we have a home waiting for us. Join us on Gods411 community for more.
