I Saw Hell and Then Met Jesus: Jordan Samuel's Near-Death Experience

Welcome Gods411 guests, we have a powerful message for you today. Do you feel there are moments in life when everything feels broken? Your pain feels too heavy, the future seems uncertain, and hope appears far away?
Many people silently carry burdens that no one else can see sometimes, like fear, loneliness, heartbreak, addiction, anxiety, financial struggles, or grief. But even in our darkest moments, God sees us and God is still working.
This inspirational testimony is a reminder that no situation is too difficult for God. His love restores hearts, renews faith, and turns painful seasons into powerful testimonies.
My name is Rick and for years, I felt completely lost. From the outside, everything looked fine, I could hide it pretty well, but inside I was overwhelmed. I carried stress and anxiety every day and constantly worried about my future. Financial problems kept piling up, relationships were falling apart, and I felt spiritually empty. I was losing all hope.
If I were honest with you I would say I prayed sometimes, but I doubted whether God was even listening.
Every morning I woke up hoping everything had gone away, but I still felt the heaviness of my burdens. Every night was filled with fear and anxiety. I smiled around people while secretly feeling broken inside. I wondered if things would ever change. And I hate to admit, but there were moments when I felt like giving up completely.
But God had other plans.
One night, after another exhausting worrisome day, I sat alone in silence, at the end of my rope I cried out to God. It was not a great prayer, it was from my gut, filled with fear, anger and honeslty some resentment towards Him, but I was truthful and honest.
“God, I can’t do this without You anymore,” I said.
That late night changed everything! I did not hear a loud voice or see a dramatic change right away, but I felt a peace for the first time in a long time, one that could only come from HIm. Deep in my heart, I sensed that God had not abandoned me, He was right beside me holding me close.
Little by little, things did begin to change. I started reading the Bible every day, especially verses about hope, faith, and trusting God during hard times. Scriptures like Jeremiah 29:11 reminded me that God still had a plan for my life:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Those words gave me strength when I felt weak.
As I continued my new walk and trusting God, new opportunities began appearing in my life. Some prayers were answered quickly, while others took time. But because I was in my bible daily, I had the wisdom to understand why and looking back now, I can clearly see God’s hand in every step.
He restored relationships that I thought were permanently broken. He provided financially when I had no idea how I would make it. He replaced my fear with peace. And most importantly, He changed my heart to a heart of faith and trust in HIm.
I learned that faith does not mean life will be perfect, it does not mean you will never have hard ships, but it does means you are never alone. God walks with you through every storm.
Amen!
Sharing inspirational testimonies is powerful because they remind us that miracles still happen. Testimonies help others when they are facing a similar situation or challenge in life.
Your testimony can encourage someone who is struggling right now.
The Bible says in Revelation 12:11:
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
Every story of healing, restoration, forgiveness, and faith points people back to God’s goodness. It will lead them to understand His goodwill and purpose for their life.
If you are one that believes that God cannot use you because you have sinned too much, or made too many mistakes, let God's word lead you to the truth. Throughout the Bible, God used imperfect people to accomplish incredible things. He used Moses who struggled with fear. He used David who committed some serious sins. And to think of Peter who denied Jesus!
Yet God still used them powerfully then and for us to learn from them now.
Your past does not define your future. God can take any sinner and create something amazing, beautiful and for the glory of His kingdom.
If you are going through a difficult season right now, remember this:
Even when life feels uncertain, God remains faithful. Faith often grows strongest during the hardest of battles. Sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He strengthens you while you walk through it, but never alone.
Do not give up.
Here are a few simple ways to stay encouraged and grow spiritually:
Prayer does not need to be perfect or complicated. God knows what is on your mind before you say it, but He wants this time with you, He wants to hear from your mouth your fears, hopes, and struggles.
God’s Word provides His promises, wisdom, peace, and encouragement during difficult times.
Listening to uplifting messages, worship music, sermons, and testimonies will strengthen your faith.
Remember that not every prayer is answered immediately, but God’s timing is always perfect. Sometimes the answer to your prayer involves some other steps that need to take place first.
You never know whose life could change because of your story. We have seen this happen numerous times, share your struggles, what you did during them and how you came out blessed in the end! So POWERFUL!
No matter what you are facing today, there is hope in Jesus Christ. Your current struggle is not the end of your story. God specializes in bringing light into darkness and hope into impossible situations.
This inspirational testimony is proof that faith can carry you through life’s hardest moments. God promises us throughout the bible that:
And He is not finished yet.
