I Saw Hell and Then Met Jesus: Jordan Samuel's Near-Death Experience

Image
Jordan Samuel's Near-Death Experience and the Life-Changing Encounter He Says He Had with Jesus For most of his life, Jordan Samuel believed hell was nothing more than a myth.  Like many people, he thought that if he lived a decent life and treated others well, everything would work out in the end. "I went my whole life not believing that hell was real," Jordan recalls. "I didn't want to believe in all that dark stuff. I thought there was no hell." Today, he passionately says the opposite.  Jordan believes he experienced both hell and heaven during what he describes as a near-death experience, an encounter that completely transformed his life. Note: Near-death experiences (NDEs) are personal testimonies. While many people find them inspiring, they should not be considered equal to Scripture. Christians are encouraged to evaluate every experience in light of God's Word. A Childhood Full of Questions About Jesus Image created with AI. Jordan grew up in Edm...

23-Year-Old Leroy Cane Dies After Tragic Motorcycle Crash on Gold Coast

I believe there are no pain like losing a child. We lost our son to suicide. In our story today, in the span of just six months, Leanne Whitehouse and Paul Cane have lost not one but both of their sons! Here is there story.

On April 2, 23-year-old Leroy Cane was riding his green Kawasaki Ninja motorbike along West Burleigh Road at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. What should have been another day another ride, another moment of freedom turned into tragedy in an instant.

Leroy lost control of his motorbike and crashed.

Emergency responders rushed him to Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but despite every effort, he did not survive.

His parents later shared the devastating news, their words carrying the weight of a grief no one should ever have to express.

“It is with heavy hearts that our family share the news of our Leroy Cane tragic motorbike accident just 6 months and 6 days after his brother Ryan tragically died."

Before Leroy’s passing, this family was already grieving the loss of their younger son, Ryan. Ryan Cane, just 20 years old, died on September 28 after being electrocuted near railway tracks in Duaringa, a small town in Central Queensland.

Ryan loved bull riding a passion that reflected his fearless spirit and love for life. He was the kind of young man who lived boldly, chasing moments that made him feel alive.

And yet, even months later, his mother was still trying to process the reality of losing him.

“A mum should never have to say, my son died six months ago,” she wrote in a post just days before Leroy’s accident.

Those words, heavy with grief, now carry an even deeper sorrow. Because now she has lost both of her sons.

Leroy was described by family as a “free spirit,” Leroy had a deep love for motorbikes, his friends, his dogs, and the people closest to him. He lived each day fully embracing life with a passion that left a mark on everyone around him.

“He had an infectious energy,” a family member shared. “He could turn an ordinary day into something unforgettable.”

Family members have expressed the depth of their grief, describing it as a heartbreak that words cannot capture.

“Leroy, you have left another hole in our hearts that will not heal,” one relative shared.

As if the emotional pain were not enough, the family now faces the overwhelming financial burden that often follows tragedy.

A GoFundMe has been created to help support the family during this incredibly difficult time, giving people the opportunity to come alongside them and ease even a small part of the burden.

If you feel led to help, you can support them here:

Every donation, no matter the size, is a way of saying: “You are not alone.”

And if you are unable to give, sharing their story or lifting them up in prayer can be just as powerful.

Tragedy has a way of reminding us how fragile life truly is. How quickly everything can change. How important it is to love deeply, forgive quickly, and hold onto the people we cherish.

But it also reminds us of something else:

  • The power of community.
  • The power of showing up.
  • The power of standing with someone when they cannot stand on their own.

Galatians 6:2 tells us:

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Right now, the Cane family is carrying more than anyone should have to carry alone. This is where our community comes it. We can pray and lift up the family.

I love this verse in Psalm 34:18:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

God is near in the pain. Near in the silence. Near in the tears that fall when no one else sees. And even when answers don’t come, His presence remains.

So today, hold your loved ones a little closer. Say those words you’ve been meaning to say. Take a moment to lift this family up in prayer.

Because sometimes, the greatest thing we can offer is simply being there for each other.

Thank you for being apart of Gods411 community!
