Dear loving Lord, my body is unwell, and my soul is tired. I turn to the only place where I can truly find rest—in your embrace. Is it too much to request, O Lord, that you heal me of my affliction?
Grant me a humble heart and let me understand that my faith does not shield me from pain and suffering. Jesus said, "Your faith has healed you; your faith has saved you."
Strengthen my face, O Lord, and allow me to look to you and cry out, "Heal me, Lord, save me." I know you hear my cries, for you are full of mercy.
Pour your love over my weary body and wounded spirit; only you can cleanse me and restore me to wholeness. Transform my heart, O loving God, to seek only your will.
Make me like your Son; may Christ dwell within me. I ask you to do what only you can in my life. Scripture reminds me that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever; you are the God of miracles.
So, perform a miracle in me—heal me completely and deliver me from the tendency to feel anxious and worried. Show me how you fight for me, give me a vision of what a healthy, healed version of myself looks like, and help me pursue that with determination and purpose.
Take my efforts and multiply them, Lord. My soul waits for you to accomplish what only you can do. I love you, Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen.
