The Poorest Person Is Not Without Money, It Is The One Without God

I have seen it so many times in society, a rich person has all the money in the world, then loses everything. This person worshiped their money, so when it was gone... they had nothing. 

For us, whether we are rich or poor, if we lose everything, we always have God. If the world leaves us with nothing, we still have God.

It is hard, I admit, money here on Earth does make things more comfortable. Our world revolves around money. Let's face it, if you have money to pay the bills, you have less stress in your life. If you have enough money to go on a vacation, life is good.

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Matthew 6:24

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5  

Do not wear yourself out to get rich;

do not trust your own cleverness.

Proverbs 23:4

Whoever loves money never has enough;

whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.

This too is meaningless.

Ecclesiastes 5:10

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
