Relationships are hard, in fact Paul in that Bible says; If possible live in peace with everyone.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Romans 12:18
It is like Paul is saying there are people you are going to have in your life that are going to be difficult. But if two people are willing to make a relationship work, with God's help it will.
When it comes to relationships I have found a couple of secrets.
First is sacrificial love. This means you serve the needs of the other person with no strings attached. I have found that if one person in the relationship is willing to do this, the other will follow.
Second is to laugh. Be goofy, have fun. Enjoy that person.
Third is to put God first. It is like a triangle. God is at the top, and the other two people make up the left and right side of the triangle. The focus is on God. This means praying for the other person, loving them as God sees them... imperfect and broken, but beautiful.
