Every person currently living or deceased, will come face to face with GOD in judgement for their sins. No one will escape this judgement, no one. The one, the only thing that will save us is:
And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
among the survivors
whom the LORD calls.
Joel 2:32
Yes, it is that simple, and that easy; Jesus Christ.
This is our mission, we as believers know this, but our friends and family are going to face the same judgement from GOD, and they may not know this. We MUST spread this good news, I cannot imagine myself before GOD receiving my judgement and seeing my friend next to me knowing that he is going to receive the same judgment, and I never told him the Good News.
What a shame I would feel if he were to look at me and ask, "Why did you never tell me about this?" I do not want to be in that position, even if it means that he may think I am a "Jesus Freak" here on earth.
